MARBLE CAKE

Serves 8

225G BUTTER

225G CASTER SUGAR

4 EGGS

225g SELF-RAISING FLOUR

3 TBSP MILK

1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT

2 TBSP COCOA POWDER

Heat oven to 180C & grease a 20cm cake tin and line the bottom with a circle of greaseproof paper.

 

Put all the ingredients expect for the cocoa powder into a food processor and mix for 1-2 mins.

Divide the mixture into 2 bowls and stir the cocoa powder into one of the bowls. 

Dollop the mixtures into the tin alternately and then take a skewer to swirl around to create the marble effect. 

Bake for 45 mins
